slowing down my pace as i approach your bend, your opal heart and lungs descend. You carry weight, your sun's collapse. This is how it always ends. Tangled in the center, fraying at the ends- the ropes are slipping from my hands. Bruises on yer body, blood of amethyst. Prevailing winds have settles in a fit of exodus. The greenery speaks in a universal tongue, leaving no stone un turned, leaving no rag un wrung. I'm lost inside the space of you. The willows fall and spell your name, we're nothing here it's all the same. Everything turns and nothing is grey but everythings good and everyones tame. i see you there, you look at me, the flowers sprout, the grass grows green. scraping knees on bad ideas, the moon shines through you let me in. I turn to you, you kiss my cheek- the earth turns slow it makes me weak. You're up my sleeve stuck in my teeth you're in my lungs, and i can't breathe.
